Hey everyone. Welcome back to the podcast. This isn't the Profile line episode that I mentioned in the last episode. That'll be the next episode and potentially the last episode of the season. I might do a final wrap up after that.
This is one of my impromptu getting on the mic and talking episodes, so expect a stream of consciousness, but we talk about a lot of things in here. Talk about the nature of the podcast, the name of the podcast, now that it's somewhat final, and also the notion of imposter syndrome and owning your path.
And I just wanted to talk about this notion of imposter syndrome and. I think I can finally talk about this like this because I've dropped that episode on the centers so I can talk freely about stuff and anytime I talk about centers and profile lines or anything related to fundamentals of hd, I'm gonna assume that you have that background.
'cause I provided that background. And again, this isn't a Learn HD podcast. It's formatting and pivoting and changing and switching, and so it's a little bit more about living your design. In line with all the other stuff that I wanna talk about on this podcast. So the name of the podcast changed, and I was gonna do a fancy introduction to why that is.
This is the introduction to why that is, and I had a story to tell you about how that podcast concept came about, which guess what? It wasn't when I,, pressed record in May of 2023. And released the aligned CEO. What it was is a seed that was planted in my head on Halloween on psychedelic mushrooms and a tent in the pouring rain off the coast of New England,
I actually started pressing the voice recorder or voice memo app on my phone when I couldn't sleep due . Which happens to me often when I take a small dose of psychedelic mushrooms. There's a whole story behind this, obviously. Why was I in a tent in the rain covered in trash bags? , birthing a podcast because that's the spiritual experience, that's the spiritual business owner.
It's not based on a business plan or any. Specific marketing avatar or target revenue model or any of that, all that comes later. Right? So the podcast that was birthed was a kernel that really was talking about shedding. I was thinking about snakes. I didn't know I was about to have a very, very close encounter with the snake shortly thereafter.
I've talked about her on this podcast on 1111. This was on 10 31 Halloween. Obviously, both dates are very much associated with transformation and death and rebirth, and I was thinking about this notion of death and rebirth and how we have many death and rebirths in our life that is the Phoenix rising, and how we as a society either want to diminish those.
We want to sugarcoat them, we want to tie it up into a fun little storytelling framework, which now storytelling frameworks are so obvious to see on social media and threads, you know, that kind of hook this, that vulnerable statement. I was here, there, and then like the story that comes after it, which can work. We've been telling stories around the fire since humans were alive, brings people together in an emotional connection, in a way that content cannot.
However, it's done in a very trite fashion. I can see right through it. It doesn't land emotionally for me, and it's because they're trying to create drama that wasn't there in the first place, or they are trying to wrap it up into a bow. When the human experience isn't clean. So to keep this brief, essentially, when I talk about the notion of imposter syndrome, people think of lack of confidence.
People think of you don't think you're good enough, right? Imposter syndrome has a lot to do with self-worth in the way that it's traditionally talked about. And. In human design. Now that you've heard the Center's episode, there are two separate centers. One is the heart center, which has to do with will material plane, reality, self-worth, confidence.
And the other center known as the Splenic Center has to do with intuition, fight or flight. Primal instinct. And I have one defined and one undefined, hence my. Realization when I discovered the system where conventional self-help was not helping me, and where conventional people were attributing different aspects of my behavior to lack of self-worth, this happened to you in childhood, yada yada, it just didn't land for me.
Anytime you're working with a professional and you have to kind of nod your head and agree, but you don't actually agree, you're not working with the right person, you're placating their ego and you're not actually moving yourself forward. So the splenic center has a lot of gates that have to do with not being good enough.
Inadequacy, not in a worthiness sense, but in like a, do I know enough?
Do I have what it takes to do this? They're related, they're, they're different. And I'm not articulating this well 'cause that's not the reason I jumped on the mic. The reason I jumped on the mic is this notion of imposter syndrome. And that's not the right terminology. It's. I guess shame. Shame is the word that is better.
Shame comes from owning or not owning what's you've done in life. And shame can come from things that have happened to you that were outside of your control, but we also have shame around the things that you have done. You should be fucking proud of. But don't wrap up to a pretty bow for somebody else.
They're not a story you can tell at a wedding. They're not a fancy number in your bank account. They're not a screenshot of your stripe payments that you can put on Instagram, but they're your story. And as we go through life, we shapeshift, we evolve. We pivot. If you are listening to this, you're an entrepreneur, you're doing something different.
You didn't do the safe path. And there are many people who do the safe path for like 30 years and then they leave and then they're like, I'm taking a risk now. And there are other others of us who've done that for 25 years or 10 years, and maybe it didn't turn out so well. Maybe we had one business and then it failed, or it wasn't for us, or we had other life stuff that came up and that's what happened to me.
Life happened. Other personal things take over and you. Decide to end that chapter and start a new chapter and the fields lay fallow for a while, or maybe you're somebody who never worked for somebody else. So it's, our stories as an entrepreneur is all different. And the reason I share that is 'cause I'm closing out a lot of different business projects that I have not related to this.
And Isaiah, I do that and I think about what I wanna do next. With this project, I am thinking about going back in-house to partner with somebody else. It could be in a consulting capacity, it could be in a, in a capacity that I am not aware of what the universe is gonna bring me, because as I shared in the Neptune and Saturn moving into Aries episode, which I called 20 20, 25, igniting your fire.
This is an entire chapter of rebirth and reinvention for all of us. And I mean, fundamental reinvention for some of us, it's going to be more dramatic than others, and that's why it's individual to your chart. That's why I work with people's evolving soul self in my cosmic catalyst sessions because knowing your natal chart is useless to me after 35.
It's a nice understanding of yourself, but it doesn't have anything to do with what you're actually going through and how that is driving your career and your business decisions. by the way, I am doing one more of those cosmic catalyst sessions at a discounted price before I create the whole thing and launch it.
And have a sales page and all that, and that is gonna be $200. They will go up to 3, 3, 3. Those those have an amazing ability to tell you exactly what's happening, help unlock things for you, catalyze things for you, and move you forward in your business in a way that is really hard to articulate.
Words sometimes don't articulate what energetic work does. It's a little bit of aism, it's a little bit of a. Precision astrology reading, and it's a little bit of a business coaching all in one into intuitive business coaching all in one. So DM E on Instagram, if you're interested in that. So the point is, is that we're in a reinvention, some of us more dramatic than others.
And as we're doing that and as we're preparing for a world that is gonna change and evolve so much in the next three years, I cannot even articulate. It's a lot of what I talked about in cosmic alarm clock. , it's all about taking care of yourself. And that means financially. That means being on solid ground.
That means doing work that you enjoy in the timeline, that you wanna do it, and it's about having tribe around you that supports you, be it virtual tribe or a personal tribe. I birthed this in my head in 2021 and I tend to be on the ground for of where society is going.
Hence cosmic alarm clock. Anyone who's got Uranus on their ascendant, which I do, you're a futurist, so. Five, one is naturally a visionary, but that this is a different kind of, it's kind of like being tuned in and tapped in on a ground floor. I can't really explain. I kind of can feel energies and I could feel that this was gonna be the trend.
Everyone was gonna change and evolve. And pivot. This is fall of 2021, by the way, long time ago. And, um. You're seeing a lot of podcasts coming out now, all about the, the messy middle, pivot, um, this and that, and it's all about the stories of entrepreneurship, the pulling back of the curtain that we're pulling back, the oz, right?
All the bullshit we've been taught by these influencers and by the people who, you know, hustled multiple six figures, millionaires, whatever, and they're on all these bro podcasts doing the rounds. But if you looked at your, their life, you wouldn't want their life.
Entrepreneurship on this podcast in my world is about living a divine life. Whatever that looks like for you, it's not about making as much money as possible. You think I would've left non-spiritual businesses and got into a somewhat spiritual track, although . I wouldn't call myself a spiritualist.
It's, it's one of the pieces of the business I'm bringing because I wanted to make a lot of money. That's not the fastest path to cash at all. So when you look at all these role models and you look at all these business podcasts, it's like, is that the business model I have? Is that the business model I want?
Because business at a fundamental level is pretty easy. You see a need, you fill a need. You pay for that need and you find more people with that need. Now there's a lot associated with that, including marketing, brand awareness, logistics, operations, accounting. But if you're just selling services, 'cause I've, I've run a consumer goods business.
I've run an international consumer goods business with freight and customs and. Sample sizes and logistics of the wazoo. And you know, relative to that, the other major businesses I run are health coaching business and a B2B business. For large brands, big companies, huge budgets. Where a hundred thousand dollars is a rounding error.
I miss those days, but I don't, but I do, because let's be frank, that's a nice number. Simplified business models, let's say. And then I've run completely complex business models and now I don't know quite what this will be, but I wanna do it my way. And so as I'm considering going back to doing something else, I was talking to a friend of mine.
And I said, you know, I'm thinking having this podcast called The Unscripted Path. And well, I didn't have the name at that time, but I had the essence and you know, should I talk about business if I don't do this full time? And only a woman of my age would consider that NBA youngest person in that class.
Second best, MBA program in the country, been in marketing for 20 years, have run two six figure businesses. Been a full-time entrepreneur for 14 years. And I'm like, do I have what it takes to, should I be saying anything about business? Am I allowed to do that on a mic? I mean, I don't actually believe that because I wouldn't be sharing this in public if I actually believe that, but I just wanted to share that out loud, like that's the fucking bullshit that goes through our head.
We don't, we don't think we're good enough because our path does not look like anybody else's, and your path doesn't have to look like anybody else's. So the takeaway for this episode is your path doesn't have to look like anybody else's. You don't owe anybody anything. You need to have integrity in what you do, in who you promised your clients.
But other than that, you don't. You don't owe anybody anything. And even on this podcast, I need to be careful about what I promise. Like I told you guys, oh, the next two episodes are gonna be the centers and the profile lines. And then the name of the podcast changed. And I was like, I don't really wanna drop those episodes.
It doesn't fit the, the new narrative of the podcast, but I'd already kinda told you I'd do that. So then I had to do that. So on this podcast, I gotta be really careful about what I say I'm gonna do, 'cause. I'm tribal and human design. I say what I'm, I say what I'm gonna do. I do what I'm gonna say.
It's very important to me, and that's why I wanna bring some integrity back to the space. I want to have more frank conversations with myself and others. This won't be a guest focused podcast, though . That doesn't energize me at this time. Potentially in the future when I have a little more of a streamlined operations flow 'cause guests are a whole other bag of worms that I don't think people realize the logistics that, but stream of consciousness episode about.
Letting you know that the unscripted path is one that is of your own writing. When I launched this podcast in spring of 2023, I launched it on a Saturday. That was the first episode. And in my perfectionist nature, I took a lot of those episodes down, but I launched on a Saturday and there was a reason I launched it on a Saturday, and that is because the first iteration of the podcast was called the aligned CEO.
And I had a whole thing where CEO is, you're the CEO of your parts. You're the CEO of your business. You're the CEO of your human design chart. You're the CEO of your astrology chart. You're the sum of your parts was the whole notion Chief energy officer chief. Operating officer of your life and nobody else's life, nobody else runs your business.
And, and when I say your business, I mean like your business, like what you're doing and your business is an aspect of that. If you're listening to me, you're not someone who's like my business. It's my whole fucking life. And I live and breathe podcast, talking about marketing and business optimization and how many, how much money can we make and all that.
By the way, pro capitalism here, pro capitalist person here, live in the us. Never telling you the money is a bad thing. So don't ever wanna be anyone to think that I am running away from that model. Because while that model let us astray, it is the model of the world that I live in. I live in the us and , you don't hate the player, you hate the game.
And as a player, you learn to play the game. That's my attitude. So where was I? Saturn Saturday. Saturn is associated with business and Saturn is associated with the CEO is Saturn rules. Capricorn, which in, Capricorn is what we found. Lead stage capitalism. Climb to the top at everybody's, everyone's expense.
More, more, more, more, more. Greed, greed greed, greed, right? But. Normal capitalism, but organic Capricorn is an earth sign. It's a feminine sign. It's just about step-by-step progress over time. It's about goal setting, it's about strategic planning. And so that's why it's associated with Capricorn.
'cause it's really about that step-by-step process through a plan. you know, Saturn being the confines of space, time, reality, Saturn being associated with make the plan, work, the plan. And then Uranus being, more Aquarian. They both coru Aquarius at the age we're moving into, but Uranus being more about frequency, Uranus being more about synchronicity, Uranus being more about downloads, Uranus being more about energy stuff we can't explain, which is why science will never be able to explain astrology.
Science will never be able to explain human design. Science will never be able to explain energy medicine. Science will never be to explain half the things I've seen when I've gone into this kind of underground world of healing and some of the. S ceremonies I've been in and some of the things I've witnessed, it's unexplainable because there is no cause and effect.
There is no replicable model, there is no evidence-based model. You can't replicate those effects. So they are separate. And Chiron, which is formerly known as the asteroid. Now redefined as a center, which is a hybrid between a comet and an asteroid, sits between them and Chiron is the healer and the alchemist.
So maybe you can pick up what I'm putting down through all my little layers, the white little Easter eggs. So Saturn is authority and Saturn is the author of your life. You're the author of your life. You write your script. Your script is unwritten and you get to write it and you get to rewrite it, and you get to add as many chapters to that book of your life until you're dead.
And when you die, I hope that you feel that you left nothing on the field. 'cause we, as we know, one of the biggest regrets of people on their deathbed is that they worried about what other people will think.
Part of the message of the aligned alchemist and part of the message of the unscripted path. It's not about business. It's not about mindset. It's not about human design. It's not about astrology. It's about all of that. It's about none of that. What it is, is a permission slip for you to own your path, to own the ups and downs of your life, to own every chapter, every mistake, every win.
Because you're still here, you're still going, and you don't owe anybody anything other than you when you go out. That's the only person you owe anything to. Thank you for coming to my unplanned Ted Talk. I will see you on the next episode for the profile lines and if it's feeling good, a wrap up or two before I take a break and we come back for season two.
Although there are no more seasons, I've taken that away. But we come back for reels, reels when I come back. Thank you for listening. I'll see you on the next one.
