3 Myths about Mani Gens

[00:00:00] Hey everyone. Welcome back to the podcast. Today we're gonna talk about manifesting generators. Manifesting generators make up about 35% of the population and probably a huge chunk of my audience. So today we're gonna talk about three things that I keep seeing in the human design space about MGS that just aren't true or at least aren't the whole story.

Uh, before that though, I do wanna give a shout out to one of my listeners who left a piece of fan mail. She's an MG and she said, hi, I'm a three five mg with sacral authority. Just a few months into human design. And listened to every podcast and watched two YouTube videos. Really appreciate the clarity and how straightforward you are.

So much has been confirmed and I can't wait to learn more. I could write a novel with all the takeaways, but I'm so glad I came across you. Thank you. Thank you listener and thank you to anyone who's left fan mail. I've had people DM me and that's been appreciated. And [00:01:00] what actually really helps this show grow is, , a public review, on Apple.

I've left instructions in the show notes of how you can do that. It's wicked easy. It takes two minutes. I swear. I know we've got all, got 10 billion things to do. You know, go, go to Apple, find the podcast, go to the main page, scroll to the bottom, leave five stars.

Leave two sentences or two words I should say, so they know you're not a bot. And that's, it shows me that I, you appreciate this and it helps the show. It really helps the show rise in the ranks. It helps the show let people know that the show is worth listening to and all that.

So, if you wanna help the show in addition to getting from the show, that's the way to do it. All right, let's roll into the episode.

So today's episode is about manifesting generators [00:02:00] and considering that manifesting generators are 35% of the population, and I know they are probably a large percentage of my audience, and I haven't done a dedicated conversation on these guys, , but this is for everybody because I want you guys to be educated

how us all different puzzle pieces, how we fit into the matrix of business and how we're the same and how we're different,

here are three things that I think are talked about in respect to the Manny Gen that in my experience with working with them and my experience in doing my deep dive investigation with them is not true.

Number one, people talk a lot about how mangen combine a lot of different aspects in business. And the two coaches I saw talking about this. Of course, of course. This is response to bullshit I saw out there. How could I, how could it be me if I wasn't,

okay. But they, one of them was doing human design and business and Jean Keys, and another person was doing human design and messaging. And both of them are mangen and they use that as an example of how they bring together [00:03:00] all these different tools in a toolbox and that makes them a manifesting generator.

No. A manifesting generator in business, if they bring it into their brand, are people who do completely different things and somehow they weave it into their brand. A great example for this is the Leo King. If you're into astrology, you might know about him. He was a pioneer in the YouTube world of.

Astrology . . He's a former model, so he's you know, is easy on the eyes. He calls himself the Leo King, so obviously he's not someone who's bashful and he has two major other passions outside of astrology. One is that he's a trance dj, electric dj.

I might, I may not be saying the type of music correctly, and he's a professional jet skier. He competes in jet skiing competitions and so. Those are all part of his brand. Now, he doesn't jet ski and talk about astrology, but he, , doesn't hide it. I'm, I think he talks about it a [00:04:00] little bit on his channel.

I haven't watched his stuff since 2016, if you can believe that. But he used to do these trance, new moon, full moon, sessions where he'd pull tarot cards and DJ trans music and talk about astrology.

Pretty fucking cool, right? And kind of unique, especially back in the day, right? And so this is kinda before social media was huge. That is someone who brings together completely disparate things and talks about them. There's another person I saw , but she's talking about cryptocurrency and gardening and something else, and they weave it onto one brand.

That is when people say they have a, like a universal umbrella brand, and they're a mangen, that's what that means. It's not that they combine like gene keys and human design, like that's related. Like I combine human design, astrology. , and there's a bunch of other modalities I'll be adding into the work that I do.

They're all part of transformation, and they all are in the same category of things.

So that's number one. , the second thing about Manny Jens, and this [00:05:00] is. Less about a a myth, but it is kind of a myth and it's kind of true. And if you think about pure generators as sacral builders, they are the pure builder. They are the builder in general. Then many gens are the express builder.

So many gens will often find the fastest way to do something. Now they might skip steps and then I have to go back. Or they might not have to skip steps because when you find the expressway, sometimes you're skipping things that never needed to be done in the first place. They tend to be like, come up with an idea and run with it.

And that's what makes them great entrepreneurs because they both have sustained energy, sacral being, and they're fast to implementation. So they are very efficient. But sometimes people. Confuse efficiency with processes. [00:06:00] So some many gens in their day job or their business are gonna be really good at optimizing processes like process flow, operations, other things like that.

But that is probably gonna have to do with a lot of their charts. Like do they have a lot of Capricorn gates, you know, earth gates, like the kind of gates that have to do with systems. I find it's often people with lot of Capricorn stuff, but you know, I don't like to generalize on this, but Capricorn has led to with strategic planning and step-by-step planning and business.

And so that is not necessarily the mangen. The mangen is just faster. And again, they're not necessarily faster always in a good way. Sometimes they skip stuff and they have to go back. Sometimes they're, they can be a bit of a hot mess. It's kind of true, but it's also a bit of a myth.

It's not necessarily that they're good at building systems, it's that some many gens have to have a chart and a skill set that lends themselves to systems. And [00:07:00] so then they're really, really good obviously at optimizing systems 'cause they're both good at systems and they're good at finding inefficiencies.

The third myth about many Jens in business is that you are the niche of one. It doesn't matter. You're a mangen. And at the end of the day, the people that you're selling to are not a mangen, right? So in your mind, you have 15 interests and they all combine and it all makes sense. But to your target audience, it doesn't make sense. So just because you're a mangen, it doesn't mean you can change your business every single day, change your brand every single day.

Be juggling 15 things. You're still a human. There are still 24 hours in the day. You still have an audience that might pivot at some point. If you change your business, you might com completely shift directions to another audience, but you can't keep doing that. And that's just an excuse sometimes that people use for bright [00:08:00] shiny object syndrome.

Another episode, I'm gonna talk about the head center. Which has to do with bright shiny object syndrome and 50% of people have that center undefined. I would argue probably 75% of entrepreneurs have that in the, you know, this digital age, and that's just bright, shiny object syndrome.

That's not a type. Let's get back to the basics of what type means in human design, which is energy mechanics. It is, how does your energy move through you?

Right. It doesn't define your entire fricking personality. So will a Manny Jen, per my first point, have more layers to their brand? Absolutely. But we are all, at some level, the niche. As solopreneurs in the new paradigm. If you're selling anything, you know at some level you are the niche. Some of you're gonna be more niche than others depending on your business model, but you have to at least articulate and capture that [00:09:00] and message that at some level in a way that communicates and lands.

It could be an umbrella problem you solve. It could be an umbrella personality. You have like the Leo King. You know there's gonna be some umbrella. That is all of the things. I sympathize a lot with Manny Jens because I'm a five line and a five line is an alchemist, not just because I'm called the aligned Alchemist, but because a five line synthesizes multiple topics.

And so in all the areas I like to talk about, I also. I was having a hard time. You know, even when I'm coming up with the name of the podcast, it's like what is the essence that synthesizes all of the things that not only do I know I wanna talk about right now, but I also know I'm gonna be talking about in two years

but as a pure gen, I am layering them in versus a man gen might just do them all at once. So Manny, Jens, they are, in summary, they are people who bring together very diverse interests, not necessarily.

They could be someone who has one thing in their brand and [00:10:00] they could do five other things in their personal life, and you would never know if you're a client or an audience member of theirs. But if you see a mani gen who's bringing together umbrella things, it's not related things.

It's not like human design and astrology. Okay. It's like astrology and like it jet skiing and trans music. Right. It's, it's stuff that's unique. They bring it together in a magical way that in a way that they're actually meant to, they're not actually meant to hide elements of themselves if they don't want to.

It just takes more care and more skill, and a real understanding of marketing and messaging to be able to communicate in a way that's going to magnetize instead of confuse. Number two,

they are more efficient. They are express builders, but they're not necessarily optimizers and they might not necessarily be more efficient. 'cause if they skip steps then they gotta go back. But that's why they build so fast. And I [00:11:00] heard somewhere from a source, which I've stopped listening to, public human design sources 'cause a of it's made up that they are the fastest growing type.

I don't know if that's true or not. Let's just pretend it's not true because I don't. I don't know. And number three is this notion that they have to have, they don't need a niche at all. Everybody else needs to niche, but they don't need to niche because they're multi-passionate. And that is not gonna work in marketing.

I don't care if we're in the new paradigm. I don't care if we're in Pluto and Aquarius, I don't care. Whatever. You know, at the end of the day, you're still communicating with people as a business owner or creator, and people still need to know what the fuck you do and how you help them. . And I'll just give you a fourth little one.

I've already talked about this at length and I'm not gonna belabor it, is that manifesting generators are not half manifester. So their way of responding might be a little bit quicker than a generator. They may need to inform people around them because they move so quickly, but they're not a manifester and they're not half manifester.

And that is going around, in my opinion, for market [00:12:00] share and for just bullshit And for, to fluffy egos. So if you are interested in why I think that is, and some examples about that and some tea about an incident that happened on Instagram related to that, there is another episode I talk about or I talk about tribes, human design, tribes, and marketing by type.

I'll link that episode below and you can enjoy my additional thoughts on that. If you are a manifesting generator, who's heard that and is acting as if you are half manifester, I would listen to that episode and. Decide if that's still what you wanna be doing, and if it's working for you, great. But if it's not, there might be a reason behind that.

That's it. Hope you enjoyed this episode. Last episode I mentioned that I'm opening up my email list to work with me one-to-one in business and human design in a bespoke way, select ways, especially through the summer. Very select ways. If you're interested in working with me on your business.

Involving human design and other [00:13:00] stuff, reach out. My email is below if you wanna get on my email list to be notified of all the stuff I'm working on. That is also below. Thank you for listening. I'll see you on the next one.
